One of our founding principles is to broaden access to knowledge in all forms so we can choose to do more with each decision. Imagine if the most future-facing research did not just sit in journals? Or the value of lived, ancient, or non-Western wisdom was not overlooked? Together, different forms of knowledge grow in meaning. That’s why we work across a living cycle of research, design, development and evaluation. Each feeds the next. By welcoming new insights and connecting more people with diverse forms of knowledge through development, we open up opportunities for change. What can never be lost are the origins and integrity of the knowledge we amplify. Learning to work with knowledge, without extraction, in the age of misinformation and mistrust, is a leadership skill.
We wonder.
To wonder is human. It is a moment of awe. A feeling from which our drive to follow curiosity in unlimited and unexpected ways is born, possible only because of our lived experiences and where we stand right now. Following curiosity helps us to think deeply, critically and over expanded time horizons. Now, more than ever, this is the work. We know what we are helping you to do is hard. The world we are working in can be unfair, unjust and unrelenting. Yet, we find wonder and, even in the demanding moments of change, we help you find it too.

We gather beyond the limits of our everyday, in search of people, methods, ideas and wisdom. Whether creating spaces for humanbeing, gathering data or designing development, what matters to us is finding and amplifying a diversity of perspectives and knowledge bases. We take inspiration from everyone and everywhere – art, geology, biology, physics, psychology, poetry, business – and apply theory in unexpected contexts.
We slow.
Yes, we will help you find your quick wins. Momentum is important. But we will be real with you. Meaningful change takes time. Despite the digital world being set up for immediate delivery with relative ease, real changemaking is still relatively slow and full of friction. The good news is that we help you slow down early on, focusing on finding the most impactful levers of change, so progress speeds up over time.
We live.
It feels important to say, given the rise of artificial intelligence, that we live. Like you, we know what it means to feel, to face fear, to consider the consequences of our decisions as well as celebrate the joys. We have real-world experience of making meaningful change. We know it is slow, messy, unpredictable and demands more than we could ever imagine. We don’t shy away from the depths of this reality.
